June - Kat Skydives for Charity
General manager Kat Blayden-Byrne skydived from 14,000 feet to raise over £500 for charity.
Due to poor weather conditions the jump was delayed twice over a two week period, however on Tuesday 31st May the skies cleared for near perfect conditions allowing the tandem skydive to finally go ahead.
Joining Kat on the skydive was friend Karen Ellison, together they have chosen to split the funds raised equally between St. John's Hospice and The Loyne Specialist School, both in Lancaster. Karen is the Office
Manager at The Loyne Specialist School who are currently raising money for a Hydrotherapy Pool.
Peart/Performance Marque sponsored the duo in their brave fund raising attempt by covering the Skydive costs, meaning that all funds raised will go straight to the chosen charities.
Following the jump Kat has said "It was the most terrifying and also the most amazing thing i have ever done. To raise money for these two very important charities made it all worthwhile."
